if i went and got my truck reflashed, would the superchips programmer still work fine if i install it after gettin flashed???

cause i've got the 1714 tuner setting here, just waitin to see about gettin the reflash 1st or not??

 

Just off speculation why would you need a reflash if you now have a tuner?

 

i dont have it installed yet, but i thought i might get it reflashed, and then the tuner, cause if u can tell the reflash, then that would make the tuner do even better right??

 

With the 1714, you won’t have any problem either way. They supposedly have all the different PCM codes and all the re-flash codes programmed into them. They are not custom tuned to a specific PCM code so they will work on all the 04’s and 05’s.

Depends whether or not you’re having any problems with it, for instance stalling, A/C’s not cold, etc, etc. The re-flash fixes problems like that (the 1714 won’t) and you would want that stuff squared away no matter what. On the other hand, if everything is good right now then don’t get a dealer re-flash.

All the codes are in the 1714 so it can customize the performance; not fix problems as mentioned above.
