Hi I am working on installing my new cat back and I removed the oem exhaust and now I am trying to put the first hanger through the stock rubber insulator. but I cant get it to go through as hard as I push. I even tried greasing it up some but it isn't going through can any one tell me if there is some secret to this. everyone makes it sound easy. but I can't figue it out.

 

Take the rubber hanger loose from the truck frame so you can get some leverage. Then put it on the magnaflow part and bolt up while its unbolted. They are a pita for sure but ya know the saying the tighter the better.....
