Hey guys I ordered my Magnaflow muffler last Thursday and it is scheduled to arrive here tomorrow.

I ordered this muffler

I looked under my truck and was seeing if i could possibly do a side exit exhaust and send both pipes out infront of rear tire, and I dont think it is going to fit . DO you guys think it is possible to put that muffler on and run the duals coming out where i want? Cause I am having some doubts on how the guy installing it is going to be able to bend the pipes.

I really want that side exit infront of rear tire.... But knowing my luck it wont might not be able to be done.

 

you want the 2 tips coming out in front of each rear tire, or just in front of passenger rear tire only? If so, you should of just bought the magnaflow catback kit 15827, that's what I have on mine...2 tips coming out in front of pass. rear tire.

 

I went to meineke they want $220 for install with two crome 2 1/2 rounded tips. So basically i am getting a good deal with this exhaust installed.

$115 - Magnaflow Dual Muffler
$220 -Install with two tips
---------
$335 good price for dual side exit exhaust, probably cheaper than the cat back from magnalfow

 

I see...well I think the 15827 kit uses the same length muffler that you bought. Your installer will need to just make some short bends coming out of the muffler if you want the tips in front of the tire. Or if he moves the muffer up closer to the cat, then it could make for some more room for pipe bending.
