Looks good, how about a shot from a little further back? Id like to see how far it sticks out past the rear bumper

That looks sick. I have a quesiton. I went with just the dual exhaust magnaflow muffler for $110 bucks and I can get the pipes installed for another 250 about from a guy I know. There isnt any advantage on running a whole cat back system? All piping is the same right? Oh and I got the 2.25 coming out I can put bigger tips on that right? Because the magnaflow muffler that i needed only goes to 2.5 out, and the guy installing it said to go with 2.25. I hope the tips can go to like 3"....

I paid $395 for mine and I installed it myself. It is all stainless steel piping and muffler and when the time comes to remove it it will be simple. The stock goes into a 3" before the muffler then splits into 2 2.5"( I think) and the tips are 3" I think.

Well being ya could have gotten the magnaflow dual cat back for 360.00 shipped. I do not think you saved any money. The difference also in a catback is the pipes are mandrel bent which flows some better also.

Yeah I guess in the end I should have done it myself. So the 2.25 out can get bigger size tips on it like 3" correct?

Looks good, just like mine! I love the exhaust. How do you like the sound of it? I also noticed you mounted your muffler up the way you did. I mounted mine flat, turned 90 degrees from yours. Was there a reason you did it this way? Also, did you have to do any cutting? I may have been one of the few that had to cut, as I got pretty much one of the first kits from Magnaflow. Anyway, looks good, nice install!

Do you have a website for that deal?

I'll post some tomorrow. The tips are adjustable. I stuck them almost flush with the bumper.

It sounds good at idle. I just connected all of the pipes and tightened from back to the front to get the tips right. The muffler just ended up that way...No cutting at all and everything lined up just right.

Wow. It does look great, for sure. I've been debating which exhaust to go with for so long that I think I'm going "muffler mad".

I saw that you said "sounds good at idle". What about cruising freeway speeds and putting the foot down???? I am looking for a really deep and mean sound but no flomaster drone. debating between the 15834 or true dual super 40 flo system.... can't decide. I heard that a shorter magnaflow muffler would sound louder but have not heard any in person so ????

Guess i'm just confused and trying to get as much forum feedback as possible.
Thanks.

My truck has 113 miles. I bought at the end of october '04 and it came with a little over 70 miles on it (dealer transfer put 65 on it). I may not drive it for a few more months to give you that feedback.
