i dont know but i smell Bs..... um, why were your neighbors outside with a video camera if youre just moving a tree? i guess thats entertainment around your area....yeee hawww i think ill take a piece of that boulder.

Btw, something similar did happen to me, apparently a UFO dropped out of the sky i was contacted by NASA to get it off of their property. my neighbors for some reason followed me to the crash site with their video camera.... started recording me as i moved the UFO off of NASA property. i dragged it down to the scrap yard, Sources tell me later that day GM had drove down their with a few of their semi's and took apart the UFO, Apparently to cut back cost their going to use it on their 2006 line up. Unfortunently later that day they also found the UFO parts were made in mexico. But that still isnt stopping them from using it on their trucks *cough* eh yeah

My neighbors are just weird! Seriously...I have no clue why they vido taped me nor really care wh ythey did. I mean they go outside when it's snowing and take a video of it snowing! (I'm not kidding) I think there on drugs are something. It wasn't a big deal, all I did was drag that tree out of the way to burn it so I didn't have to chop it up! lol I think my neighbors were waiting for something to happen so they can take it to a news channel station or something. Who knows..

why? there was some positive feedback here. Some of it joking but still positive.

Even if you didn't ask, you would still have had to post to tell us you did it.

Don't be that a way.
I for one enjoy reading your zany adventures.

I read them to my goat.
He has no opinion as to whether thay are good or bad posts.
Although he did say he would have at least cut that trunk in half because he was concerned about the tranny.

But he's a goat, what in hell does he know.

Excuse me but, aren't you the same guy who wanted to dump the truck because of assorted squeaks?

Now you want chain it to a fifty foot tree trunk weighing in excess of two tons and attempt to drag it because you "just don't feel like chopping it up with a chainsaw" ?

And you come here to solicite opinions about this from people who are NOT making your truck payments?

If that's the case, I'm in the right thread.

Hey fellas' I awoke this morning to find a thirty foot boulder in my front yard. Now, I don't know if it bounced off a mountain or it's an asteroid but, I want to get it out of my yard and into my neighbors yard and I don't want to call a excavation company or the EPA.
Do you think my truck could roll it considering the ground is flat?
I would estimate it at about 36 tons but, it is round.
I'd put an old tire on the hood to protect the paint.
Should I get a running start to about 40mph?
Would this deploy the air bags?
Thanks in advance cause I won't be thanking you afterwards.

Talking

This thread made me laugh so hard that I blew a giant snot bubble out my nose like a 3-year old.

Holy crap! Time to get serious now...ahem. I have a very serious problem and I need your advice. A 50 foot, 4000# goat just fell out of the sky (a NASA project gone bad) and I need to go tow it away before my Homeowner's Association repossesses my house for violating the protective covenants.

I wonder if I should tow it out with my 1972 Gremlin or if my 12 HP Cub Cadet tractor (with intake, tuner and exhaust) will be up to the job?

This thread was just what I needed tonight. A good belly laugh! Thanks Triton and everyone that replied.
