Just wondering if anybody knows if a 04 XLT middle console will fit in the middle spot in an FX4 with the bench seat.

 

It will fit!! I did it with the Lariat Full Console..I bid on ebay and did not realize that I got the full console..But it will fit you just need to buy the mounting brackets...The center seat comes out fairly easy..Bolts are hard to get too.. I ended up getting two of the Lariat consoles,but it does look good if I can figure how to cover or fill the space at the dashboard..Hope this helps..Good Luck..If you want to see the install I will Put pictures up...

 

Yeah, put up pics. I'm planning on the same mod. I have the full console but need the dash parts to connect too. Maybe we can work together on this and figure it out.

And hey, did your console have all the parts? Like the cupholders and trim pieces ?

 

I want to use the XLT console so I don't have to worry about running the console to the dash, and I still will get the cup holders and the deep center compartment.

If you currently have the fold down seat in the center of the front seat, you will not have to buy any mounting brackets to fit the XLT console. It will use the same four bolts that hold down the center seat. It takes about 15 minutes to swap out. I did this swap about a month ago.
