I just read last night in a Company memo that Ford will be recalling ALL F-150's with the faulty cruise control switch..

Yeah, I've thought the same thing inbred. It's getting rediculous having to delete or move two of these 'fire' threads per week.

The bottom line is this....

If you're worried about your truck being involved in a recall campaign, you need to contact your stealership or Ford Customer Care. When you contact them, have your VIN handy. They will be able to run it and tell you exactly which recall campaigns apply to your specific truck.

IT'S THAT EASY!

Two per WEEK? Heck, I saw 7 different threads on this yesterday in 4 different forums. I see 3-4 more so far today. If you're going to make a new thread about the cruise control/ fire thing, at least indicate as much in the title so I won't waste my time.

if they can't read the replies in the other posts and they obviously can't read the news briefs on news sites... they probably won't be able to read the sticky.

That's the second part of a problem I see here frequently...

People start threads like... 'Cows Like Salt' and then go into a long drawn out discussion on treads on tires or a topic like 'I Done Gone And Done It...'. Once you read further, you learn that it's a thread about a billet grille and hitch step.

It's really silly.

Many of you who have posted 'non-descriptive' topics have probably noted that I have added to your topics. Take that as a hint.

While I can't do all of them nor do I really want to go and change topic/thread names, I have to do it on occasion because they annoy me to the point where I really feel obligated to help out the other users.

So, just to make sure, would a post called "calling Rockpick..." be an appropriate subject for a post to get your attention?

One my my biggest irritations on all forums is people putting subjects like "What do you think?" "I need Help". WITH WHAT! If I know nothing about the subject nor care about 4.6's, manual trannies etc. Why should I have to read it? On the other hand if I ignore it I may miss out on valuable info.

RP, maybe a sticky on that.

but to take it a step further, it's about billet grills for a SuperDuty in the Lightning or 2004/05 forum.

Guys, I'm here to try to keep it all in order (which is a task and a half sometimes).

If you see something that is blatently out of place, all I ask is that you fire me an email to kingranch@hotmail.com . I'll make the determination and move the post/thread if necessary. Again, just email me and reserve the 'Report this post..." link for more serious things like trolls, spam, and other blatent rule violations.

Thanks folks! I depend on help from you folks as well... You all are the backbone of this place.
