Help me argue against Dodge Lovers
Help me argue against Dodge Lovers
I went to the National Western Stock Show this weekend and Chevy and Dodge were there, but Ford didnt show. All my friends spent hours at the Dodge part of the show and they were constantly bragging about all the dodges they had on display. They had the 15000hemi and the 35000 dualie and the guy that was showing off the trucks said that "Fords cant compete in any category against Dodge"..... I got fed up and went and walked around looking at cooler things than dodges =). Someone help me out and give me some statistics that I can show to my friends about dodge compared to ford, and how Ford kicks Dodge's ***. I know Hellbound is on my side when I say the "Hemi" is all "Hype". I showed my friends hellbound's video and they were all pissed and said "They didnt race off the line... they only did 20mph and 60mph rolls...." and im like "Just admit it got spanked".... SOmeone help me and provide me with some stats comparing dodge and ford trucks please
Everyone at the motortrend autoshow was flocking to the kingranch f150 on display and the srt 10 ram was right across the isle from it.:o
Ford had some great displays for the f150s. Showing the frames of all trucks, bolts used, quiet steel, videos etc.
I even saw a little kid lick the leather on the king ranch and say it was chocolate.

I don't really think there's much to argue. Dodge makes a fine product in the Ram; they were the first of the big three to do a major redesign, first in '94 then most recently ('02?) They were the first of the big three to introduce rack and pinion steering and significant frame stiffening to their pickups. The Hemi and Cummins engines are both stout drivelines.
In favor of the Ford though, there's simply the massive sales numbers, so Uncle Henry has to be doing something right. The Crew cab Dodges feel like they have about the same interior room as a Supercab '04+ F150, Supercrews aren't even a comparison. The interior in Dodges looks too plebian, even among their higher line trucks, when compared to an FX4, Lariat, or King Ranch F150. And you can get your F150 in just about any flavor you want, three different engines, two transmissions, two or four wheel drive, regular, extended, or crew cabs, short bed, long bed. Can't get an extended cab Dodge anymore, it's either regular or crew cab. And the Fords just plain look better to me.
