I asked this same question a while back! I think it was beavertricks who said that he called PA and they said if you bring your truck in then they will make and install it for free. They are based near phoenix i believe. I assume that as soon as they get a free guniea pig then well have a lift for the 4.6L.

Maybe we can find some poor 4.6 owner in arizona and beg/bug them till they take theirs in?! Sounds like a good deal for everyone.... they get a free lift and we get one on the market!

heres the email i got today from Chris @ www.4wheelcustoms.com

Erick,
I just got off the phone with Performance Accessories and they said the 5.4L body lift will not work on the 4.6L truck. They did say they are working on the application and expect for it to be released by summer. I checked some of the other brands and I can't find anything that will get you what you need for the 4.6.

Thanks,

Chris Darnell

"hey did say they are working on the application and expect for it to be released by summer." - thats good news! That gives me some time to find some tires!

Good deal! I still wonder what the difference is between the 4.6 and 5.4 trucks.

i have no clue! could you explain how a 'body lift' works? i dont know if it will work without me needing longer upper a-arms b/c mine are stretched to the limit now.

We are just going back and forth on these two threads. A body lift just raises the body 3 inches above the frame. It does not affect the suspension at all.
