percentage of problem trucks low?

It must be that out of the 900 thousand trucks that ford sold (f-150) thre must be 200 with problems and all 200 are on this board and very active. Please dont take this as a shot at the guys with problems because I feel for you I really do. Fords credit rating is one step abaove junk if the public would become aware of a widespread vibration bad heat bad horspower problems Ford would go junk and out of bussiness. F-150 is the flagship of ford.

I was just out with the truck in the snow. To warm it up I left it idling for ten minutes. The heat is blazing. In the summer I put the air conditioner on and it was frigid. My truck has ***** and not a hint of vibration. I am however paranoid as hell that some catastrophic problem will ocur soon and **** me off. But ..... like I said the odds are against it. 900 thousand trucks probably 200 or so are bad. I am not saying that is a good ratio but the board hapenns to be one of the best I have ever seen and I bet all with problems have found there way onto this board. The majority of the good trucks owners never have a reason too look for a forum.

You guys with problems should just demand a new truck and tell them you will go public with the problems.

Ummm, lets see I have a Blazing Yellow lemon I wonder If I can get a lemon peel look out of the paint.lol
The Dealerships lack of interest when you present minor/major problems and lack of willingness to do anything. Along with the runarounds and BS"Problem not found or cannot duplicate" or "Fords know about it but there isn't a fix available yet" may be more of it than plain ol FORD quality.IMO
All in All I like our truck and would rather keep it.

all manafactures have problems with their vehicles one way or another, look at the titan, chevrolet, dodge..... nothing comes perfect from factory and im sure alot of people demand that it is perfect because its "new" but its a mass produced truck and theres no way that would happen, Fords run around about the vibration would **** me off too, but i also couldnt see them sitting around in corporate headquaters eating pizza, drinking beer and watching re-run football games while the problem builds up, sooner or later problem will be fixed(This happens..it is a new model, new design, new EVERYTHING) Taking it "Public" isnt going to do anything, you think its going to make national news over a tiny percentage of people having the vibe compared to the crap load of people who have no problems
