Stock stereo info needed
Anyone know how you remove the stereo in the 04? I've got an STX with the single deck CD player in it.
It looks like there's a panel that can snap off that outlines the actual deck, then once that's off the deck can be removed I think.
But I can't figure out how to get this stuff undone and get in there. I don't really customize cars but I want to add a computer to my STX for GPS, moveis and MP3's. I'd considered the pioneer unit that can do that but I can do it cheaper, get a bigger screen and more capabilities going with a computer instead of an all in one deck system.
Anyway if someone can help guide me through getting into the deck, that would be great.

From: somewhere east of west.
pop out the tray on top of the dash, then pull off the dash cover
( easily, don't crack it ) unscrew stereo brackets.. a 10 min. job.
