Billett Grille question
Billett Grille question
I'm thinking about getting a replacement (not bolt over) billett grille for my 2004 SCrew but want to keep them FORD emblem on the grille. Can I just take the emblem off of the stock grille and just bolt it on the new grille?

The plastic posts on the Ford emblem aren't long enough to go through the grill.

I used 3M double sided sticky tape (clear kind)
It hold up pretty well.... I replace it evey 6 month if it needs it.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I need to add double sided tape to my order.

I personally didn't like the double -sided tape solution so I drilled a couple pilot holes into the back of the emblem and used 2 machine screws, with washers as spacers, and screwed it to the grille. It has been holding nicely so far. JP
I turned the little tin nuts around, domed part facing out and pushed between the grill slats.

TX FX4, your black billet grill looks great. I have a all-black FX4 and thought the black grill would look cool. Do you have more photos of it? Also, does it clean easily? Any chips or flaking?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks, it looked even better before I put the grill guard on.
I think it cleans up easily and in the 10 months I had it I've got one tiny chip in the lower grill. Blacked it out with a Sharpie.

No need to go shoot more photos, I think the black grill is what I want. Thanks for offering though.
You really should go a little easier on the neighbors' car (the white one), I've always known Fords are tough-not even a scratch on your truck.
