New Mods! - Flares and Liner

Well, I promised pics as soon as I got these finished, so they are now posted in my gallery. I apologize for the shadows. I'll try to post better pics next time I wash the truck. The flares are the Bushwacker Pocket-style and I had them painted to match the truck. The bedliner is Line-x and it looks great.

Flares from Ebay were $352 shipped. Painted for $165. Line-X was $360 less the $20 internet coupon.

Flares look great man. More and more I am thinking of going that route. I need the extra protection the same as you with those big tires. Nice truck.

I live in Maumelle. I'm in Southeast Arkansas right now doing some duck hunting, so these pics are at my parents house. The others are at my house in Maumelle.

The flares look great!

But I've yet to see a leveled 4x4 (not lifted) with the pocket flares. I'm considering them, but not sure they would look as good as they do on a truck with a 6" lift.

Dirtworm,

Can you let us know which eBay seller you got your flares from? I notice a few sellers with the price around $320-$325 - I prefer to buy from someone that you guys know about.

Thanks!

How far did your tires extend beyond the wheel well before you installed the Bushwackers? Do they now cover the tires entirely, or do they still stick out? I'm thinking about doing the same to mine.

Hey dirtworm,
do those flares come out wider than the tires, because I need to find some for my truck so that i can make it legal. I need the flares to stick out further of at least even with the tires.
