Quarter Mile Time?

What would my quarter mile time by if i were to have dual exhaust and a supercharger? J/W. The guy that is going to install my supercharger said i would be running mid 14s, and that is at 5,200ft

Cover eyes, aim gun (somewhere), pull trigger - "Sure, you can get that"

Seriously, I think it's a little optimistic, but I don't know your truck config, what supercharger or how much boost or what your times are now. This wouldn't happen to be the guy that would make a profit from these parts, would it?

It is a truck, why are you concerned about quarter mile times, speed, etc? If you want to go fast, go buy a new stang.

Yes, its a truck, but why can't it be fast. There are some diesels around here running 11's and 12's, and lots in the 13's. lts really sucks to pull up to a light and get smoked by a Dodge dually. I say hell yah, supercharge it if that's what you want. Just do your homework before forking out the cash.

Yeah it may just be a truck, but it also has 4wd.... It snows here in colorado so i cant have the luxery of 2wd like those of you that live in warm climates. I'm a student, no way i could afford a stang and a truck... I can barely afford car payments and work extra hours at my second job to get enough money for mods (dual exhaust). The new mustangs are cool, but not for my situation right now, i need something that can get around when there is 2ft + of snow... I laugh when it snows out because all the fast cars cant move but 5ft. And would it not be sick to have a 12 or maybe even a 13 second truck? Still keep up with many "faster" cars on the street.

You need more engine to turn those times. Look into have a V10 shoehorned in and have it blown...

Are you nuts, well you must not be if you can float a new 150 going to school at the same time. You'd be better off saving that money to start your own biz after school. Then you can hop up any thing you want to the max..

There is nothing wrong with a 4X4 truck that goes real fast and also does heavy duty work. I have plans for a supercharger for my SCREW, I am just waiting for them to be perfected and to save up the $$. Some of us just like HP, and will do anything to give our vehicles that neck snaping power. If I want to feel real speed I hop in my modified Cobra Stang, but it would be nice to have the best of both worlds in my everyday driver F-150!
