Quick Window rattle fix

1- cut a strip of tire inner tube. I bought it at an auto store.

2- Put a piece next to the open window and then close it jaming the piece of inner tube between the seal and the window.

3- cut another strip and jam it by hand into the other side of the window.

4- walla it worked.

5- for good measure I armor alled the seal because everybody said when it rains it does not rattle. That did not seem to do anything but the inner tube worked.

It is a bit rubarb but until the dealer gets the part and I bring it into service wtf.

Glad you got it fixed, no matter how you did it. Nothing worse than an annoying rattle. Others will benefit, as well.

Why didn't you just take it to the dealer and have it fixed right... under warranty? There is a TSB for that.

I will take it to the dealer but I only have 300 miles on it and I am in a bit of a binfdbecause I get up at 4:oo am to go to work so it is a bit hard to get to the dealer. I have to take a day off. This is just temporary.
