Only 280 miles on the '05 for now, but i can say it rides darn near as nice and it's as quiet as the Audi in the garage.

 

By gawd I'm gonna do it! Thanks for the very useful information and lecture. You guys are great. I have to tell you, if I didn't have you guys to help me out in my times of despair, I don't know what I'd do. And I really mean it. Oh btw, I saw a used 2001 Lightning at my local dealer today with only 19,000 original miles on it going for $21,988. Boy that's tempting. But, I know about the plug spitting problem they have. And I'd rather just get the new body style F-150. So...one will be sitting in my driveway this Summer! Thanks for the support. <---see I'm already celebrating!

 

If you let the possibility of getting the vibe keep you from buying the new F150, the only one that loses out is you. Just make sure you take a long test drive on a smooth stretch of road and drive the truck from 45 to 75 MPH...if it shakes, find another one.
