"Wipers on" = "Brake pedal vibration"

I just got my '05 Lariot SCREW 4x4 on Dec 31st and have been totally impressed with the truck. These trucks are great!!! I found my first "issue" with the truck.

If I have my wipers on and am sitting still with my foot on the brakes or coming to a stop with my foot on the brakes, I can feel the brake pedal vibrate everytime the wiper blades go up and down.

I ran a search and came up with another guy that had this problem, but he posted it back in April '04 and no one really responded with anything.

Is there a fix for this or is this just something we deal with? It's not too bad, but I was kind of shocked to feel this. I know my last vehicle ('96 Impala SS) had the wiper motor mounted on the firewall and it had huge rubber absorbers seperating the motor from the firewall. I guess they help cut down on the vibration. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to check out the F150 wiper motor because it's been raining here.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah, mine does it, too. Kinda annoying, but I've learned to deal with it. I don't have any vibes, so that's about all I have to complain about....

I believe Ford is a victim of their own success. These trucks are so solid and quiet that people are noticing things they never paid attention to before. Mine is the same way, doesn't bother me though. I'm too busy enjoying the envious looks from people as I effortlessly leave on a green while they spin their wheels in the snow.

Wiper movement

My wife has an '04 Honda Pilot. When you are sitting still and the wipers are on high, they actually make the vehicle rock from side to side. If you sit there long enough, the side-to-side movement can almost make you nauseous.

Live with it.

You won't be able to change it unless you shut the wipers off.

My 01 definately didn't do it...

It just doesn't seem 'right' though. These two systems have absolutely NOTHING to do with eachother. Thus, why would the two interfere with one another?

That is the truth.
I was idling at a light with my windows up.
This chevy pulled up next to me and the driver farted.
I knew it was him because when I looked over he turned all red.

I didn't smell nothin though so, I got to say the climate control system is pretty good.
