New Model
I was driving by my local Ford dealer and saw 2005 F150 that caught my eye. They have had a couple King Ranches that look sharp, but this was a sporty truck. It came with a tonneau cover, hood scoopes, big chrome rims, and a custom hood. I did not have time to check out the window sticker, but I jumped on line tonight to try to find out more info. Has anyone else seen a truck like this, or are these dealer equipted models? They had 3 on the lot.
Well, the dealership does not show these trucks on their online inventory. The trucks did have a different stick on the rear fender. I think it said "SLX". The Ford website does not show that model. I am tempted to drive back over to the dealership to check it out. Those trucks were sharp!!
I know what you're talking about. My local dealer had about three of them, but they were 04 models. I think it was like a ford F150 GT or something like that. It must be some kind of aftermarket prep company offering them to ford dealers. Other than the 3M "hood scoops" it is a pretty neat looking truck
It could have been, this dealer has had Roush trucks in the past. I am going to check it out tomorrow.

Saw one a while ago on a dealers lot. Stopped by and checked it out. Looked pretty bad ***. Wonder what they all tweaked on the motor. If anyone has some hp/torque ratings id like to see them.
Southern Comfort makes a really nice conversion on the new F150. It features interior and exterior modifications (including stitched seats, exterior paint, wheels, exhaust, and, often times, a lid).
I've seen several of these around here and, I must say, they're SHARP.

They could have been Roush trucks, but most likely they were dealer modified trucks. I live in Waterford MI (near Pontiac) and the dealer near me has close to a dozen modified trucks. Most are 4x4's with a leveling kit and 295's or 305's, hood scoops, chrome packages, 20's or 22's. Some look good and some just look wrong. I am thinking of having the dealship install my leveling kit. Anyone had the dealer install a leveling kit?
