18" Lariat Wheels on my XLT Scab?

Tried to search on this but am still unsure of the answer: Can I slap a set of Lariat 18" wheels on my 04 XLT Scab or would I have to lift or level it first? My truck came with the 17" aluminum wheels.

I see some pretty good Ebay deals from time to time on factory Lariat rims but did not want to buy them and then find out they would not fit. Thanks in advance.

They will work. I put 18" Lariat wheels with 275/65/18s on my XLT Scab . Looks so much better than before.

So what happens to the speedo when you do this? Those wheels are different heights so wouldn't this throw the speedo off? I was also considering this but I have this concern.

You maybe off a mph or two, nothing thats going to get you pulled over.

All the wheels are interchangable. Same bolt pattern, backspacing, etc... nothing special about any of them.

When it comes time replace the tires, 18" tires are harder to find and usually cost more...
