I hear you on this one.

Its the one option my FX4 doesn't have that I really, really wish it did.

I've got this feature and it is a rear bumper saver. Not to mention hooking up a trailor. It's like another eye....that beeps. I think you'll like it if you can get one installed. Good luck.

I understand it can be installed aftermarket and that it works very good.

I'm trying to find more out about it right now.

Do a search, this was brought up before and there are some aftermarket options listed.

Trailer

How about adding it to the bumper of the Trailer.. Theres nothing like getting out every couple of feet for fear of driving something into the back of the trailer. When you hook up the trailer unplug the trucks sensors and plug in the trailer.

Does anyone have the parts needed for a factory add on system?
Bumper with sensors:
Dash panel with on/off switch:

Is everything else already there?

Thanks, guys,

Thanks, guys,
you have to buy the bumpers and the sensors separately and you have to buy a new top bumper piece because 2 sensors go there i dont know much about the dash though. the sensors are about 12 or so try fordparts.com. i hope this isnt breaking the rules but i have my old chrome bumper with the sensor holes in it

Incubus, not trying to take away from your income but you can just drill those holes yourself, no need to buy the entire bumper (sorry). I have posted this before a long while back, really wanted it myself and refuse to get the gaudy sensors off ebay with rainbow display. You can purchase the wood trim piece for under $100 brand new from Ford Parts I believe (Fastpartsnetwork). There is a module I believe that sits in your dash and plays the "beep". Damn I wish I had this.

well im not looking to sell it so it dont hurt me but if your going for the stock look they not just holes in the bumper. they have slots in the hole as well and each one is differnt so u know where each sensor goes. u can just drill hole in the bumper but then you gotta doublesided tape em on

Ahh I see, the kit on ebay just has you drill your own holes with the provided bit. How much would you let the bumper go for and what sort of shape is it in.
