Lowering the truck made the axle go up. Wouldn’t you then want to lower the pinion?

Mine has a slight driveline vibration since I installed the DJM 2" shackles on acceleration from 20-30 mph, any higher or lower than that and it's not there. It's not really that bad to me anyways, but it's noticeable.

2° shims would put it back to where it was before you dropped it. I never installed them but it doesn’t appear to be that difficult of a job.

I just installed my Ground Force 2" shackles and got a slight low speed vibe. I installed the shims according to the instructions with the thick part facing the rear of the truck. The shims worked, no more vibe. The shims were marked as 2.5 degree.

I have a Styling Concepts 2" drop and I need the shims to correct the above said vibrations. Without the shims (pulled them out for 5k miles to vefiry) I get the same washboard vibs. DMJ gave me no help nor did BellTeck.

Who has ordered just 2 deg shims only for the '04 - 05 and installed them. I'm concerned about how they are secured.

Shims...

I just purchased the 2-degree shims from StylingConcepts... tried to install it this weekend and realized after jacking up the truck and unbolting the U bolts that the opening on the shims were too narrow for the two "pins" on the leaf springs. Also, the opening on the shims are too short. I think the shims were made for the single pin leafs rather than the double pin leafs that the 04's and up have. I will have to end up opening up the slot on the shims by making it longer and wider to fit both pins. A real PITA! Oh BTW, my vibration occurs at about 24 - 26 mph. This was all after installing the shackles.

Yep, they sent you the wrong shims. The ones that came in my Ground Force kit were cut out properly for the 2 pin spring pack the 04-06's have. You might see if you can order them seperately. The part number for the 2" drop shackle kit I used is GRF-91200. If you get those shims, they fit with no cutting. Sorry to hear about the vibe, mine had it too after the drop until I shimmed it.
