what is a 9.75 rear end? i have an 04 xl f150 reg cab, my sticker says 3.73 non-limited slip. do you know if it will work?

It says your buddy changed gear ratios so he needed to swap the LS. So I guess that this LS only works with one gear ratio? Do you know what gear ratio it works with?

Phiber- Yes, all the newer F150's have a 9.75 rear end.

 

no, only the 04's with 5.4 motors have 9.75 rear ends.

The 4.6 liter motors have 8.8 rear ends.

Front differential in both motors is 8.8"
