Since the '05 F-150's have been out for a few months now, I was wondering if there are any improvements done to this years truck.

Looking at a 4x4 XLT probably. Don't know between Scab and Screw yet though.

mostly features were lost in 05, little things that ford decided cost too much to put in the trucks...

Yea like no FX4 on my dash instrument cluster

The 04's I drove were rattle machines though. Drove 3 of em, and each one had rattles up the wazoo. The 05 is totally silent.

 

Bought my 04 in Jan. 2004, i used to read all the rattle/vibe/tire nibble posts and say "my truck does not have any of these issues", then about 5-6 months later and about 6500 miles, my steering wheel started to go back and forth when braking, and a few days before a Camry decided to pull in front of me (see gallery), i could have swore i felt rearend vibe when my truck was cold taking off from a dead start.
In my opinion, time will tell if the 05's do not have any of these problems.
p.s. I realize it is a very small percentage of the F-150's that have these problems. Im not "bashing" Ford as this is my 3rd one.

 

My '05 has it. You have the flow thru console?
