yet ANOTHER audiophile swap question..

It seems quite a few of you have done some stereo swapping and research concerning swapping the "regular" 6 disc CD player for the Audiophile. I've done a few searches here and it seems that as long as I have the plug under my back seat and behind the factory head unit (and I think I do) I'm good to go except for the door speakers. Am I right so far? What I don't think I have is wiring in the doors for tweeters. I want to upgrade the door speakers of course to a good component set but how will they be wired if there is no factory harness/plug for a tweeter? Where does the wire come from for the tweeter on a truck with the factory Audiophile system, is there a crossover somewhere? Any thoughts? Also, I'm looking for a Audiophile head unit and sub box, is ebay the place to look? Any of you looking to get rid of one? Thanks.

The component tweeters that come with the audiophile system have the wiring harness attached to them, they connect directly to the mid-bass / crossover. The crossover is mounted on the back side of the mid-bass speaker.
You would do better buy purchasing a set of aftermarket 5.25" or 6.5" component speakers.

I have the regular stereo. Swapped it for a pioneer head unit and stuck with the anoying hole in dash. Oh well. I put a subwoofer in the back and a set of rockford two way standard speakers. Sounds a lot better but my left ear hurts from the bazooka pointing towards the rear right door.

Thanks erick_e, I didn't word my question very clearly or concisely but you answered it. I'm on the right track now and I know just what I'll do. Thanks again.
