I just wanted to say hello to all on this forum. I've learned a great deal from this board and it looks like I'm gonna like it here. I am anxiously awaiting a 2005 FX4 Scab that was ordered on Dec 13th. Dealer said 7-10 weeks, and the wait is terrible. The first question I have and I have not seen anything brought up on this yet, is I read in BON that Ford is ordering a stop shipment on certain vehicles that may have defective cylinder heads on 4.6 and the 5.4 3v engine that I'm getting. Has anyone here heard of this? It would suk if they delay my new truck, but I guess i'd want it to be right than come early and have to deal with the dealer for a fix. I just sold my 95 Bronco (gonna miss that truck) and will be trading a 99 Explorer for the F-150. I WILL be keeping my 96 Mustang Cobra though as it's paid for and in absolute cherry condition. (yes I am a Ford guy. heh) Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and I'm psyched about my new truck and I'm looking forward to spending some time here as well.

I never had any serious issues with a Ford truck before, and I sure hope it doesn't start with this one.
