Question Alpine Head Unit

Right now I have an 05 Lariat SCREW with the Audiophile. I just got an iPod. I was thinking of getting the Alpine CDA-9833 head unit and the iPod interface.

Is there anything else I would need? (Besides the double din adaptor and wiring harness)

Is there anyother way to hardwire the iPod into the Audiophile head?

Thanks for your assistance.

Sorry I can't relate from personal experience, but you should not need any additional equipment to wire it up.

Excellent choice on the Alpine, BTW. Eve if there were an easy method of wiring your iPod directly to the stock unit, I would suggest the Alpine anyway.

The sound quality will be superior. Alpine has always maintained the cleanest processing units around.

check the audio forums, that is why they are there. Those guys may not have a 2004-2005 F-150, but they may have advice for your Alpine HU question.
