I think we're talking about two different squeaks here. I know for sure I have this problem and I was for sure it was in my sliding rear window. I just havn't been in for the TSB yet. I have noticed on this (which is more of a rattle type sqeak) that it is much more noticable when the temp. is really low outside (below 32 degrees). I also have a smaller squeak that comes from what sounds like the supercab door. This usually squeaks on mine if the back door is not shut all of the way. When I shut my back door firm enough, the small squeak usually goes away. Although today I noticed it again and re-shut my back door several times and the sqeak was still there. I'm hoping someone comes up with a solution on this one too.

Same problem, I had the rear window rattle, which was fixed under the TSB. Now I have the styrafoam/rubber to metal noise described here. Tried taking it to the dealer but for soem reason they never hear it. Sounds to me like it comes from the window but cant tell for sure. I dont have the audiophile, sat. radio, or power slider....and its a scab.

I had same problem. 04 FX4 SCREW. Trust me it comes from the rear window. I had the slider TSB done which did not fix it. Then a service rep drove with me and he could not find it but was sure it came from the rear window. They replaced the entire rear window assembly at no charge. Problem solved! I was not the only one with this problem I was told. Service rep told me the seal around the window was the issue.

I've had the same noise described, today they finally replaced the assembly around the window and it never made any noise on the way home. Might be something to it. Hope this helps

I have the same problem in my '05 king ranch. At first I thought it was the rear window as the problem started right after I had it replaced, and the noise seemed to be coming from that area. But I noticed I could hear the squeak outside the truck when I closed the door. I narrowed it down to the area behind the rear arm rest, which also seems to be the area where the cab pressure vent is. When I put the rear arm rest down and press against the cloth backing, I can recreate the sound. If you look down between the cab and the truck bed on the passenger side and close the rear passenger door, you can see the flap open quickly to release the pressure created by the door closing. I believe if I remove the rear seat and put some wd40 on the inside part of the flap it will solve my problem.

I sprayed 3 M silicone allaround the outside and inside of the rear window. I also did inside and outside the frame itself, no more noise!
