Black rims on silver FX4

Any one have any pictures. Looking at the American Racing 3981 or 367 Series black rims. Would like to use my 18" stock tires on them.

I'm not a fan of black rims. However, if that is what you want, the Helo Black Max are by far the best looking ones in my opinion. You might want to consider them.

I have been waiting on my 367s for over 2 months now. They (AR) at first said they werent even producing them yet until they knew that they would have enough orders to produce them. Now, they are so backordered its rediculous. Anyways, It (in my opinion or IMO...whatever) depends on what color silver truck you have. I have a Drk Sdw Gry FX4 w/no chrome at all. Pretty much, the whole truck is dark and black so I think itll look kick *** on mine. As soon as I have pics I will post. They are saying mid Jan. Now on a silver color truck....Id have to see one before I could judge. Now the 367s DO have a little bit of chorme on them which will help offset the colors, so they could work nicely for you. It all depends though. I hope this all makes sense, I kinda got lost in two stories at once. RV

First thing I did was a search and it came up with nothing.

What about AR Telfon or MOjava rims ?? its blackish
I'm open to those too, something black but not the cheap steel wheelies.

The only thing chrome on my FX4 is the F150 emblem, I think black (even with shiny offset) will look great.

Madmarty has them on his truck.

There only only two problems with the 367 victor teflon wheels. They stick out too far and they are nearly impossible to get.

I'm just going to paint my wheels or get them powder coated.

The Victor's that are on my truck are really a very dark grey metallic finish, not totally black. I really like how easy they are to clean. A little soapy water and a rag and all 4 are clean in about 15 minutes. The price was a little steep about 230 per wheel, but they were on sale when I bought them about 3 months ago for 140.

I think they would look good on your truck. The only thing is that there is not much backspacing on them so they will stick out about 1.5 to 2 inches, as you can see from the pics. I put on the Bushwacker extenda flares and they cover just right.

MadMarty,

Thanks for the reply. I am a little worried about the tires not staying under the fender. I live on a gravel road and if I do get some more aggresive tires I know I will be throwing rocks everywhere (my jeep throws them up on it's hood).

Yoman, thanks for your search efforts.

Edit: That's the plus about black rims, easy to clean and touch up if damaged.
