There was some cutting and trimming.... I got them at a local truck shop. Bought and installed $375. They did all the work.

Looks good Beaver! I thought you had finally run out of mods to do but I guess I was wrong! I bet that helps with rocks and stuff from scratching with the huge tires out so much.

I will never run out of mods! I am the mod king!

And yes, it does help so so much with the flying rocks and such

I'm also interested in what it is going to cost to get those things painted. I am going to buy some at one point or another but I will have to have them painted. I saw a pic of truck posted a while back that looks almost identical to mine that had the pocket flares and were painted. It looked sweet, but I'm not sure I can afford $400 flares and another $300-$400 for painting. I've never had anything painted so I don't even know a ballpark. If someone knows, let us know!

Thanks guys - I got 3 quotes to paint them, $100, $150 and $160.
And these were local 4x4 shops. Also, Ford dealerships can do the work in their body shops.

I almost painted them, but the black kinda matches my theme I got going on, so I left them alone. I figured if I changed my mind I would just take them off and paint them.

I got the flares for xmas, I believe my wife paid $350 for them. She also called around, and got three different prices. $350 being the cheapest, and that shop also put them on.
