Sometime i drove on highway or arond the town...I saw some nice Larit or XTL F150 04 and they look a bit bigger and little taller than my truck..

Is it me or my truck is actually lower than other ie Larit, XTL ??

F150 04 Screw FX4

 

I thought the same thing myself yesterday as I walked into Tractor Supply. I got out of my XLT and the FX4 I walked by looked lower than my truck. I almost measured but I didn't see the owner so I didn't.

 

I had an FX4 and now a Lariat. I thought my FX4 was taller. Sorry guys...

I've got an XL Supercab with 163 inch wheelbase. Its darn long. The front end is lower than the rear. I have also seen XLT's and Lariat models that are level and higher. So you may be right on the looks. But only measurement will tell for sure.

 

It sounds just like it a perception thing. There shouldnt be any differences besides that of 2wd and 4wd (FX4). Though, before my leveling kit I did park my STX reg cab right next too a xlt ext cab at school and mine looked a good inch higher in front. Me theory was maybe it was extra weight since I think he had the 5.4 and of course the longer cab?

 

to me it seems like all the trucks I see on the road are bigger than mine.

 

hey YOMAN do you have a leveling kit? if not, the trucks you are seeing might have it installed. i am always getting asked if I have a lift on my truck becuase people think it looks taller. i just tell them it's a slight increase at the front to make it look level.

the CXT? I saw one on the road the other day. that thing is huge.
