i have a 2004 f150 by wednesday i want to have an exhaust installed! im having trouble deciding between a magnflow or flowmaster! i like flowmaster cause of the sound but have heard that there mufflers actually are bad and hurt the air flow coming from the engine! i like magnaflow because every1 raves how they are great plus the fact that there stainless steel! is stainless steel really that important or is what u get on flowmaster pipes alright! i need help!!!!!!!! any and all the questions above that anyone could answer would be great! thanks!

also having the 2004 with that quiet steel or whatever! will the drone in the cab of the truck still be pretty bad or what! i do plan on if going with flowmaster to just get the american thunder system!

 

I put a magnaflow on my truck and like it a lot...not too loud, but sounds good...just my 2 cents.

 

I personally would go with the Magnaflow because it's stainless steel, I'd never own an exhaust system that wasn't. Of course, I live in Michigan and we have TONS of road salt that eats up the undercarriage. I had Borla on my last truck and loved it.

 

I have flowmasters on my '04 Screw and it sounds great.
I can hardly hear it inside the cab.

 

Flowmaster 70 series cat-back DIDO exiting out the rear. Sounds great going down the interstate. Not overly obtrusive inside with the windows up or down. See pics in my albums, link in signature.
