I just ordered a clifford matrix alarm for my truck.Where should I mount the led?Or should I just stick with the factory one on the dash?

 

The installer of my aftermarket alarm put the LED in the flow-thru console ... centered in front of the shifter, etc. just below the ashtray. Sorry, no picture. But, YES, install it somewhere. Even if it makes one "would be" thief pass up your truck because he realizes you have extra security, then it's worth it!
