I cant wait for the michelin m+s ltx to come out for the 18 inch lariat/fx4 wheel size. I had those tires on my AWD astro, and that thing was unstoppable in the slippery snow/slush.

I bet if I chained the astro to the screw and did a "pull off" in the snow, my astro awd would pull the f150 around the block, because of the traction.....

I know for sure it would beats it stoplight to stoplight in the slippery stuff

We had a solid 6"+ in the wyandotte area.
Half of the people at work didnt show on thursday! The snow was more intense the farther south you went.

The fiancee's honda accord got stuck at the base of the driveway. She wants a 4x4 explorer now finally!!!!

It was alot of fun driving to work! You know how you always see the cars going 5 mph and then the 4x4 goes flying past them, driving through all the thick sloppy stuff?
That was me!!! And it was great!!!!

The main roads are all cleaned up, but the subdivisions are still snow covered.

I have LTX M/S on my S-10 and that truck is a force to recon with. Its a 91, 4.3L 4x4 with 230,000 miles on it. The tires are 30x9.50 15s and they are just the best damn non off road truck tire there is period.

These generals are not horrible tires, there just not good snow tires. They are however WAY better then the old Goodyear RTS's the effies came with.

I distroyed a set of those on the 01 f-150 4x4. Now I run BFG ATs in a Load Range D and could not be happyer.

Huh? What size tires/wheels do you have? Last time I checked the Revo only came in 16" and smaller.

I had no problems with the Generals so far.

I have a set of LTX M/S's, too bad they're 265/45R16 (anyone in MI have a Ranger that needs some serious tire?)

I going through my 3rd winter with BF GOODRICH LONGTRAILS TA'S on my truck they have a little over 40,000 miles on them and did fine in the snow and ice we got in Nashville the other day these tires are far better than the Goodyear Wrangler AP's the truck came with when I bought it new 5 years ago.

4X2 with stock BF Goodrich tires and 500 lbs of weight in bed (water softener salt). Lots of snow and ice here in Ohio. Woke up to 1/4 inch thick ice over the entire truck. F150 had no problems starting or driving. Granted, I didn't have a need to blast by other people to try to prove some point, but it get's me from point A to point B on time and safe. Seen a few 4x4 vehicles in weird directions in the median because they thought they were indestructable. 4x4 ain't gonna help you if you hit a hidden patch of ice going too fast for conditions.

I don't need to be in that much of a hurry while everyone else is going to be late anyways.
