Trailer With Leveling Kit

My question is does anyone have pictures of their truck (with leveling kit) and a trailer attached. Just curious to see what the most weight anyone has towed and how the truck looked with it attached.

I have the same question. Wanting to bring my front end up a little. I think it is going to be fine with my set up, the rear is still higher than the front. Here is a pic with no leveling kit if it helps any.

ZMAN,

I saw this picture in the other thread and that is what prompted my question.

So how far down did that trailer bring the rear of your truck (from ground to wheel well)?

I keep forgetting to measure. I even put a tapemeasure in my trailer storage compartment so that I could do measurements. One of these days I will remember to do it, but I do remember looking at it one day loaded and the back was still an 1" or more higher than the front. I really want to get that front end a little higher because I hit things with it.

edit: to sum things up, it did not go down as far as I thought it would. I am worried about spring sagging in a few years, but I guess one can remove a spacer up front or add something in the rear.

I don't have a leveling kit on my truck, but I hall a trailor almost daily with different loads and this thing barely squats in the back at all. If I have a pretty heavy load (2 tons maybe) it might put the truck around level...but never has it been lower in the back yet. I'm pleased with that... I haven't had the chance to snap any loaded trailor shots yet, but I will post next time I get the chance.

By the way...that's a sweet lookin ride you got. I havn't seen the KR yet. That's also a nifty measuring device you have on top of your tire...

Thanks

I think these are sweet trucks no matter what style or model you have.

I trailer a boat and trailer weighing close to 6500 lbs. with my truck. It has the 2.5" leveling kit on it. It sits pretty damn nose high. I plan on getting helper springs to fix the issue. Sorry, I only have pics with the trailer before the kit.

Trailer

My Trailer weighs 1850# and my Mustang weighs around 3300#. The truck barely squats. Since this picture was taken, I purchased a weight-distributing hitch. I felt I was pushing the limits on the tongue weight. It feels better now and this 5.4 tows like a champ, even through hilly interstates.

D***, good looking truck and what does in that picture. From the looks of the pic you don't have a leveling kit added or do you.

Trying to located some pics of say a 2 inch lift and the heaviest load or trailer that still doesn't take the rear below the front. I have some jetskis and they don't do anything to the rear. I do have a straight hitch, I was wondering if I used one that was dropped to keep what I was towing level would this help?

05 150 KR,

I will try and get some pics early next week as I will be on vacation of a trailer on a truck with the level kit.

I keep my trailer on another piece of properity up behind my house or I would do it now for you. Ill pull my old army jeep up on the trailer then the atvs on it. That should give you an idea with different weights on it.
