hub not locking correctly

anyone else have problems with the truck in 4wheel drive? i just sent mine back to the dealer, 8300 miles on it, when in 4wheel drive the truck would make a rubbing noise. came from the front end, i guess theres a problem with the vaccuum for the hubs. They ordered parts for it.

Nope, I haven't read anybody having similar problems that I recall.

One defective transfer case is all I recall, and the way I remember that'll make a noise you'll never forget.

a couple very oddball times here and there it has been mentioned, usually burried in other posts. It's just the nature of an electronically actuated system--once in a great while one gets a break in the vacuum. Not a big deal as long as they fix it.
