Cold Noise?

Any else notice, when its below about 20 F A growl from the tranny for a few minutes, when first put into gear? It seems to run OK other wise. If I put it in Neutral, noise goes away.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the tranny fluid being too thick at that temp.

Talked to service manager, will take it in on wendsday, he said there are solenoids for reverse and drive, they sometimes get "noisey when cold, The fix is to replace. We will start there.
