Lift kit ?

Hi, Im new to the forum so i hope that this is not in the wrong section.
I have 04 f150 XLT Supercew. (Its 2WD just got an amazing deal on it, so i had to take it)
Now the question is:
Does anyone know who does an 8 inch liftkit for it that will fit on my truck ?
It can actually be 8-12inches but i wanted it to be at least 8.

I know 8 inches on 2WD doesnt sound like a practical idea, however if you knew what i paid for the truck you would see why i didnt buy a regular priced 4wd....

Nope, that kit is for the 97-03 4x2 F-150's. Your suspension is completely different. Your truck uses coilover shocks instead of the normal a-arm/coil springs in the older trucks. However, I've seen a 6 inch Fabtech lift advertised for 04-05 4x2's. Also, Pro Comp makes a 6 inch suspension lift for your 4x2. You could use one of these lifts with a 3 inch body lift for a total of 9 inches of lift. One other option is the 8 inch CST lift. It is designed for 4x4's, but since the suspensions are the same, it may work on a 4x2. You could contact California Super Trucks and ask if it will fit. I also believe that Donahoe Racing makes a lift for the new F-150's. I think it may be 8 inches also.

I would say put a "Straight Axle" in the front with leaf springs. And don't worry about a transfer case.

Does anyone know of good brands for an 04 4.6L 3inch body lift ?

Apparantly engine size matters on 04-05 F-150's. There was recently a post by a member saying a Performance Accessories employee told him their body lift would not work on trucks with the 4.6 engine. I have no idea why.

I have the Fabtech 6" suspension lift on my 4x2. I love it and it looks great. I wouldnt want anything more than that though.

And Performance DOES NOT sell the 3" body lift for the 4.6. It has something to do with how the engines sit. They also told me there were no immediate plancs to make one either.
