Story before the surprise

Temp was around 65 today so I decided to do some yard work after mailing gifts to my kids in CA.

So I look at my truck and man she needs a bath so I am giving her a good cleaning and a quick wax. While doing this the mail truck pulls up and the guy says he has a box for me. It is addressed to me so I take it to the garage and open it. I go inside and tell my wife that I opened her Christmas present to me earlier and apologize. She says what the hell are you talking about I take her outside and show her the box, she tells me I didn't get that for you. I agreed on that sweet truck you can't stop talking about. So I pull the package out of the box and there is a card at the bottom.

BAM SURPRISE CRAFTSMAN TOOLS FROM FORD.

I didn't think I qualified for this or was I excepting them.

Now a couple of new mods for the New Year!

 

Man, that's great! All I got with my truck was a payment book...

That's certainly news for the folks that are waiting on the Craftsman tool sets... it appears that they *ARE* rolling out to customers.

man i got jipped, i wasnt offered no damn tools. Last thing i got from ford was my title. I want tools too.

 

Mee too. I didnt get tools, but I did get a big fat payment book, prolly similar to the one Dzervit got.

 

When did you have to buy your truck to get this tool promo?

 

I ought to get a set too seeing as how I bought my truck early on (7/03). Took a chance on the NEW Ford F150. Not holding my breath.
