I'd still go back down there and see what they'd do, just for argument's sake.

LMAO dude. heres a hint with those POS people. SEND THEM TO HELL. it worked for me. i know go to World Ford in Kendall or Midway Ford. i have totally given up with those people. they are complete and utter garbage, and all they do is give me a hard time. they blamed my foglamps not working on my radio, and on my previous truck they refused to work on it b/c it was lowered. the 2 service advisors there are crazy.

how much did they charge you for the alignment? i may go to them after installing my lift kit, just to bother the hell out of them. they really dislike my dad and i.

I guess I need to start going to World Ford. It's a much longer drive for me, but I suppose it's better than having to endure a brow-beating every time my truck needs to go in for service.

This post was really see what others thought about the negative effects of these leveling kits. Apparently most feel that this mechanic was just being a fool.

ahh your right by there. yea its more covenient. i actually bought my 2001 from Coral Gables and vowed to never give them business again. when my dad saw the Cobra he wanted at Coral Gables he asked the guy for a price and all then broke him down and told him to F* OFF for treating us the way they do. i wish there was something we could do.

That's horrible, the Dealership is there to serve you. Just to let everyone know, a dealership near me (email if you want the name) is selling "leveled" trucks right off the show room floor. They appear to have 2" or 2.5" Daystar lifts on them. Most have 325's with 18's or 20's. It also appears that the trucks have FULL WARRANTIES.

This post has become almost comical. Does everyone think that the dealer was just being lazy? Is there merit to the claim that the changed angles throughout the entire front end as a result of the leveling kit will have detrimental effects on our vehicles? That's what this post was really about, and instead, many of you have implied that the dealer was just being a jerk. I guess no one out there thhinks that leveling kits are a cause for concern.

Leveling kits might be a cause for concern. I admit that. I am arguing that by some dealers installing leveling kits on new trucks and providing a full warranty on that truck, Ford is be hypocritical. We all know how lazy the dealerships can be. We also know how naive truck owners can be in regards to modifications and there effect on the truck.
