They called and were extremely nice.
Talk about anticlimatic. They barely asked any questions, and now the waiting begins.
Has any here had experience with the Memphis board? How long did it actually take for your decision? They said it would take 10 days.

My opinion is that the DSB hearing is mostly for your satisfaction to speak directly to the board. The documentation that was gathered prior to the hearing and the work that was done to your truck is much more important.

Actually, my DSB was for a terrible miss/Rough idle.
The dealer acknowledged it, the FSE said he was aware of the problem. They said they could not fix. But they should have a solution in January. No date given by Ford, only January. There was no dispute that there was a concern. The dealer said it was normal. But he also said that they had asked me to be patient until Ford had a repair.
I had it in 3 times, and then they stopped trying to fix it, since engineering was aware of the problem. I took a fourth time, but they said the FSE said there would not be a solution until January.
The Ford Dispute Resolution Specialist called and offered me an extended warranty to drop the DSB.
I told them how disappointed I am in paying all of this money, and then having a truck that Ford can't fix. That I don't trust the truck, and how I commute across the worlds longest bridge, twicw a day.
They asked me if it ever died. Then they asked me the current mileage. That was it.
So I think they had their minds made up before they called me.
Now I settle in for a long winters nap.
