6" Pro Comp is on its way...

So I ordered my 6" Pro Comp today from 4Wheelparts, and am already getting anxious as when it is going to arrive.

I have a question.

Has anyone run half of the daystar with the pro comp? I want to get a little bit of extra height out of it.

And I have a 2.5" autospring for sale. It's the old one, which was really big, as you can see in my gallery. Or I will trade for a daystar spacer.

Hopefully my BFG 285's will be for sale soon.

I can't wait to see some pics! What tire/wheel combo are you gonna use?

I already have the wheels, which are American Eagle 186's.

I'll probably keep the 285's I have now, and get some used H2 315's as soon as I pick up a few bucks.

I'm selling back all my books from this semester tomorrow, so we'll see how soon I can get me some tires.

Congrats on the lift. Be sure to stay on them when shipped. It travels by truck freight and you will get a big skid with 4 heavy boxes on it. Since you ordered the lift on your own are you going to paint it? What color? Good luck man!

About how long did it take for you to receive it after you ordered it?

I'm thinking about painting it, but more than likely I'll keep the color it is. If anything, I'll paint the coil spacer black to match the fender well.

It took about a week and a half if I remember correctly.
You can definitely leave it the color it is, but I would reccomend hitting it with some paint for protection. I wasnt really happy with the powder coat finish so I wanted to make it a little more flashy and add a little more rust protection. IMO

I recommended painting it. Look at Eddy's gallery and mine. He painted his and I didn't. The painted lift kit looks much better.
