Finally!! 1/4 mile passes on my 4WD Lariat with bolt-ons and gears!!
Finally!! 1/4 mile passes on my 4WD Lariat with bolt-ons and gears!!
Well, for all of those who want to see some performance numbers out of a full weight F-150 (supercab, 4WD, Lariat) with the popular bolt ons...here's the timeslip... 1/4 Mile Timeslip
Here are my mods....
4.56 Gears, stock 32" Goodyears
DiabloSport Predator
Airaid Intake
Magnaflow Catback
Carbon Fiber Driveshaft
ASP Underdrive Pulleys
Synthetic Oil
So, when Car and Driver may have gotten a 17.0 out of their SCrew Lariat 4WD, it doesn't mean our trucks are complete dogs. They just need waking up. I am done now....just needed to get some respectable numbers from the "300 HP" motor.
Check this out.... Titan XE King Cab 2WD w/ stock airbox mods I was shocked to see we both ran the same times, but he's still got a tad over 2 mph on me, probably from the 800 lb weight difference!

theres 2 times on the slip. you should mention what side.
What kind of fuel economy do you get with those 4.56 gears?

If it was the the time on the Riight then he just would have said,
"Car & Driver rocks!"

Nice job Robert dropping nearly 2 seconds.
SVT needed a blower to do that.
WTG Robert!
I thought your old gears had 4-5K miles on them when I bought them from you? Those old gears are newer than I thought. I'm still playing catch-up going from 3.31 to 3.73, but my tires are only 30" diameter. We will have to compare soon.

actuallly he has the .574 light. which in reality could be a 1.074 light becuase at some tracks they print it out as a .000 being a perfect light

With your 2WD tires, your truck should really wake up with the 3.73s. It'd be about the same as my jump from the 3.73s to 4.30s....which I would have done had 4.30s been available for our 9.75 rear
dang that Titan only has stock airbox mod and is running 15 sec. 1/4 mile times.
