Getting 1.5inch autospring for my 4x2 lariat supercrew. I'm debating doing it myself. Just thought I would check prices around area.

I'm not in the Houston area but close to San Antonio.

I had a shop do mine (buddy of mine works there) and they charged me $ 125.00 for the labor and 59.00 to align it.

If I was to do it all over again, I would probably do it myself. It really didn't seem that difficult after watching over the guys shoulder, but you will need a very large socket to get the lower strut apart. You will also need an extra pair of hands to get the strut back in after the spacer is on top.

You have to remove the ball joint ends (use a hammer to hit it on the side, not a ball joint fork or you might tear the rubber boot) sway bar ends links, strut and then reassemble. Other than the large socket (30mm????) you more than likely have all tools you need.

Hope this helps. Don't go by my instructions as I'm only going off of memory.
