Cab flex on SuperCab

I have noticed that when I open all 4 doors on my SC the overhead bin always opens. Anyone elce notice that these cabs flex a good bit with the doors open? I know its a HUGE opening but comeon, I think they should have been able to stiffen up the cab a good bit over the old trucks.

I don't think so.

Look at the way the doors are designed on the Scab. The doors are not stressed members of the cab shell.

Are you sure the bin is closed all the way? I've closed mine before just to have the door fall down. I failed to close it all the way. Sometimes it will stay shut without fully latching.

Mine doesn't do that, and I've got two add on bins in addition to the one standard bin.

I had all the doors open the other day when my buddy ripped one off that would curl the paint on the wall, But didn't notice the overhead bin opening up.

It only did it one or two times. Its possible I was parked on a hill or something. I have not checked recently because I never open any of the doors besides the drivers. Mostly its just me driving it.

You just have to squeeze and pull down. It comes right off.

Thanks KaNigIt! That's a peice of well known history around these parts. There's a memorial set up in the Winnipeg zoo to make sure people know that Walt Disney wasn't the creator.

It's not a slideable rack, It's done that way so it's easier to have the bins line up.
