Oh please....I could afford any trim I wanted to have...Why would I want to pay 2k more for the Lariat, when all that fake wood is in there? I didn't go with the lariat just becuase of that reason. King Ranch is nice, but it's to much money to me to spend just on the name "King Ranch" I got the trim I liked the best out of them, and if you keep that crap up saying your better, you need help too.

 

Did you expect real wood? Even the choice of stain and varnish? Ya i dont like the wood dash and i dont hate it. Its something different they wanted to do to separate the different levels of trucks. And as far as that goes, replace the wood with the fx4 style dash. If you can afford any trim level im sure you can afford to switch that out. If you really think about it, lariats cost about 2,000 more but look at all the extras you are getting. Not only will you get things in the inside of the truck, you get appearances that are different on the outside, such as the rims, better tires, chrome grill surround, shocks, skid plates on the fx4, and many others. When u pay that much for a truck why not spend the extra money to get the fancy package. Dont be hatin lol keep it clean or rockpick will throw u out!

There is gross plastic in the XLT, FAKE carbon fiber in the FX4 and FAKE wood in the Lariat. What's your point? However, the Lariat still has the best looking interior with it's gauge cluster and other creature comforts. I am better, that's why I drive a Lariat.

 

Nice truck! I love the Lariats. That's what I have except that I have the Supercab in the Med. Wedgewood blue. Now that you've got the new truck, time for the mods to begin?
