Unhappy new truck prices

Hi folks.

I sure envy you guys: in nova scotia, the price of my 04 stx 4x4 was 37.800. I ****ered them down to 33.400+taxes@15%.
The fx4 was 41.800+ taxes. thats for a short box reg cab 4x4.
I thought i did good for our prices here!

dirtworm,

Love your truck! But please put some airbags on the back so your nose doesn't stick up when you tow. It is embarrassing

Thanks for the compliment, but she's not squattin' just cause there is a 700lb 4-wheeler on the trailer. I think has more to do with the 600lbs of deer corn in the bed that you can't see.

bought my STX Reg. cab in August 2004. MSRP was $23,xxx and I paid $17,xxx after A-plan. I went with the Flex buy option which splits the term into a 36 with lower payments and 30 with higher payments @ 9.25%.

Dream about that every night, but in reality it would never happen.

I bothered the poor salesguy for a week before buying mine.

Sticker on my 04 SCab 4x4 5.4L was $34,900, with rebates and X-plan I got it for just about $28,000 out the door. This truck was not on the lot eather. It had to be ordered because of the options I wanted.

I got the dealer to give me $5500 for my 94 Mustang GT with a slipping tranny also. Ofcorse they did not know it was slipping when they offered me $5500

I was happy with the price. I REALLY wanted a F-250 Harley truck in black/orange. The dealer still has one, its a SCab shortbed 4x4 with the powerstroke. Thats what I wanted, the crew cab longbed is nice but alittle big for city driving. Best they could do for me on that truck was $37,000 though. That was out of my price range. I guess Ill look for a used one in a few years.

2004 Lariat Supercrew 4X2
Purchased on 11/29/04
MSRP $35,540
Paid $25,420

Plus a $100 plane ticket to go pick it up. I was very specific about the color I wanted (Arizona Beige) and options. I chased trucks around the state of Texas for 2 weeks. Everytime I got close to one it was sold just a day or two before. The $100 plane ride was well worth it just to get my off the internet searching inventories. My wife agrees with that last statement as well!

I LOVE MY TRUCK!
