Ok.... i think im getting ready to order the autospring and the A1 electronics power door locks and keyless entry for my STX for a total of $225.... My plan is to install both myself with the help of my dad and friends.... my question is before I order, could I possibly get these same mods installed professionally for anywhere around $250?(im on a strict budget)

auto spring is a cinch took me about 1 1/2 hrs, I didn't have to unbolt the swaybar endlink.

door locks i believe are way more time comsuming.

Good luck.

It depends if you have the time or not. If you are on a strict budget then I say go for it. Not only that, you'll have the pride of knowing that you installed it yourself.

The autospring shouldn't be that bad to have installed, but the locks are very time consuming. I'm generally lazy, and was quoted $150-$175 a door for locks. I'm lazy, but I'm not that lazy...

Once again, may I suggest Autoloc ck2000?
