I purchased on 10-21-04 and have'nt see hide nor hair of the power tools I am suppose to receive. I went by my dealer on the way home and my sales rep did'nt have a clue. All he told me was that no one who bought a qualifying vehicle during this promo has received their tools. He said one guy is calling every day and raising hades about his tools. Sales rep told me he would try to find me a number at Ford to call. When I bought my truck, they had one of these tool kits on display at the dealership and when the promo was over, they had to box it up and ship it back to Ford. Now that is tight.

Why is everyone so worried? They told me specifically 8 weeks. Until those 8 weeks since purchase have elapsed, I just have to bite my tongue... If they told you different, then you should take it up with the dealer. Don't leave until they give you an answer. Hold the dealership liable. They are the ones that used it as a selling point.

That's right. I remember bringing a couple really old (several years old) Craftsman screwdrivers to Sears and asked them if they would replace them. No problem. I just picked out the newer comparable ones and there was no charge.

My brand new Ford is broken so they tried and tried and tried to fix it then told me it's normal.

That's the difference between standing behind your product.
Replacing a truck is a little different than replacing a screwdriver.

I bought my truck way before the power days promotion, and I just got the set of craftsman power tools today. Awesome christmas surprise!
