To Level or Not To Level...

My '04 XLT 4WD SCAB looks a little rear-high. What's the benefit to going with a 2.5" leveling kit on the front end other than aesthetics? Is it really a 1.5 hour job with "simple hand tools" or should this be done in a suspension-oriented shop?

Thanks.

Search the forums, I'm sure you'll find more information than you need.

I have searched; that's why I asked these two questions. I've read about which kit to get, but I don't see whether it offers any other advantages other than appearance (and even a slight disadvantage if towing as it'll look like it's squatting). So... thougths on any real benefit to leveling and the degree of simplicity?

You have it all then, now you have to decide

Level or not to level

Level - then you have to decide which kit to get(Daystar, Autospring or the new one)

I tow some jet skis, don't really think I will put much payload in the rear unless I start working on the house alot more (don't think that will be happening).

So to the point - I went with a 2" lift from Autospring which left my truck 3/4" lower in the front.

Looks level and just for my opinion looks damn SWEET.

Lastly, find my post on my install.
