AutoSpring 2" front lift

Is this the brand most people recommend? I have searched on here and saw some peoeple talking abot this but I just want to make sure my front end of my 04 4x2 will be the same height as the back. I saw these on ebay for 115.00. Please let me know before I make my purchase. Thanks

Bryan

The 2” kit will level out your truck. Do a search (many threads on this subject already exist) on Autospring & Daystar, they seem to be the most popular.

Daystar baby!!! No annoying "what size do I get?" confusion! Those Autosprung folks are an odd bunch. Just as jpdadeo...

I went with the Autospring 2" lift. I only do basic auto mechanics (oil, air, and change a tire) but I did this tool longer than most because I didn't have everything I need and was very cautious on the first side. Second side only took about an hour.

1. 4lbs hammer

2. 30 mm deep socket, metric socket set and I had to get a set of deep sockets 27 to 12 (I think it was 12).

3. only raise one side at a time. I wouldn't put the other side one a stand again.

4. air compressor (strong enough) mine wasn't, did a lot by hand that added to the time.

5. need a friend to get the spindle and upper arm back together.

It was well worth it. Do a search I just read a thread were someone had Daystar instructions with photos (excellent instructions(wish I would have done it during my install for everyone).

Good luck with your choice, can't wait for the pics.

Had the Daystar installed, $ 313.00 out the door with the alignment. Now the rear of the truck is 1/4" higher than the front and she rides just as good as stock if not better.
